Eco Plastic was originally established for its patented roof sheets.
Over The period of 27 years in the market place, new products was developed and introduced to the market. Some of our products offered to the market are roof sheets, pump covers, filter covers, hydro phonic equipment, leaf traps for gutters, feeding troughs, drinking troughs, seed trays, tanks for water and chemicals, cooler units, flashing and ridge top cappings, hot houses and micro green houses, car ports, wendy houses, sky-lights for houses and industrial buildings and nurseries.
Eco Plastic has the sole mandate to use the registered patent rights for the manufacturing of polyethellene roof sheets. Both the machine and the method of producing the roof sheets are patented and belongs to the owner of Eco Plastic.
Meet Vivian Beukes
founder and cEO of Eco Plastics
Eco plastics was established in 1996 by Vivian Beukes.
After careful market research in the building industry, Vivian discovered a void in the market for roofing material.
In 1996 there was only two polymer roof sheeting products on the market, which was fibre glass- and polycarbon sheets. Polycarb was to expensive and fibre glass did not weather well. With his engineering backround and interpaneural skills, Vivian developed and built a machine to manufacture polyethelene roof sheets. Vivian also developed the market for polyethelene sheets in the agricultural sector. The specially designed sheets for the agri market is called a thermo sheet.
Till today the roofsheets are still price competitive and have proven over the years to be fantastic value for money.
